Die Überwindung der Wirtschaftskrise und des dadurch entstandenen Haushaltsdefizits ist nicht die einzige Herausforderung für die neue Bundesregierung: Vor allem muss es ihr gelingen, ungenutzte Wachstumspotentiale zu entfalten - durch Investitionen in Bildung und Forschung, durch die Entwicklung einer zukunftsfähigen Klimastrategie und durch die Anpassung der sozialen Sicherungssysteme an die wirtschaftlichen und demographischen Gegebenheiten.
