Energieverbrauch im Freizeitbereich steigt

Abstract

Wachsende Zeit- und Einkommensbudgets, die für Freizeitzwecke zur Verfügung stehen, finden ihren Niederschlag in entsprechend steigenden Freizeitaktivitäten, verbunden mit immer größer werdendem Mobilitäts-, Raum- und Ressourcenbedarf. Das DIW hat im Auftrag des Bundesministeriums für Wirtschaft und Technologie ein Gutachten zur energiewirtschaftlichen Bedeutung des Freizeitbereiches erstellt, dessen Ergebnisse hier zusammengefasst werden. Für ein Referenzjahr (1996) wurde eine detaillierte Analyse durchgeführt. Die Perspektiven des Energieverbrauches für die Freizeit wurden für das Jahr 2010 geschätzt.
