Das Einkommen der freiberuflich tätigen Zahnärzte nach Inkrafttreten des Gesundheitsstrukturgesetzes

Abstract

Anfang 1993 ist das Gesundheitsstrukturgesetz (1) in Kraft getreten. Im ersten Jahr seiner Wirksamkeit haben die Traeger der gesetzlichen Krankenversicherung - bei ihnen sind neun Zehntel der Einwohner versichert - 3 Mrd. DM weniger als 1992 fuer zahnaerztliche Behandlung und Prothetik ausgegeben. Die Bruttoeinkuenfte aus selbstaendiger zahnaerztlicher Taetigkeit beliefen sich 1993 (nach Abzug der Betriebsausgaben von den Praxiseinnahmen) auf knapp 8 Mrd. DM. Dieser Betrag war um 600 Mill. DM geringer, die Zahl der niedergelassenen Zahnaerzte (2) indes um 2 100 hoeher als im Jahr davor. Je Praxisinhaber betrugen die Bruttoeinkuenfte (vor Abzug der direkten Steuern und der Aufwendungen fuer die soziale Sicherung) 1993 in Westdeutschland 179 000 DM (1992: 204 000 DM), in Ostdeutschland 143 000 DM (1992: 154 000 DM). Nicht ganz ein Fuenftel der westdeutschen und etwas ueber ein Fuenftel der ostdeutschen Zahnaerzte erzielte 1993 Bruttoeinkuenfte von hoechstens 50 000 DM, etwa ein Fuenftel der westdeutschen und knapp ein Zehntel der ostdeutschen Zahnaerzte indes solche von ueber 300 000 DM. Die Haelfte der niedergelassenen Zahnaerzte bezog 1993 Bruttoeinkuenfte von maximal 154 000 DM (Westdeutschland) bzw. 125 000 DM (Ostdeutschland).
