Demonstrationszentren zur Förderung des Technologietransfers: das Beispiel Faserverbundkunststoffe

Abstract

Innovationsaktive kleine und mittlere Unternehmen (KMU) haben in einer arbeitsteiligen Wirtschaft eine wichtige Funktion. Sie tragen auch dazu bei, daß sich neue Technologien ausbreiten. Zu den Querschnittstechnologien, deren Beherrschung Voraussetzung für die technologische Wettbewerbsfähigkeit ist, zählen neue Werkstoffe. Zu ihnen gehören Faserverbundkunststoffe (FVK) im Hoch/eistungsbereich, die sich vor allem im Luft- und Raumfahrzeugbau bewährt haben. Ende der achtziger Jahre erwarteten Experten, daß dieser Werkstoff in neue Anwendungsfelder, insbesondere auch in KMU diffundieren werde. Das Bundesministerium für Forschung und Technologie (BMFT) hat deshalb den Technologietransfer in KMU über die Einrichtung von sieben Demonstrationszentren für Faserverbundkunststoffe gefördert. Das DIW wurde mit der Begfeitforschung zu den Demonstrationszentren für FVK beauftragt.
