Grundlinien der Wirtschaftsentwicklung in Berlin 1992/93

Abstract

ln der Stadt wird die wirtschaftliche Lage in erster Linie vom Strukturwandel geprägt. Zunehmend wird nun aber auch hier die Rezession spürbar. ln der West-Berliner Wirtschaft, die schon im letzten Jahr kaum noch gewachsen ist, wird in diesem Jahr das Bruttoinlandsprodukt real um fast 1 vH geringer als 1992 ausfallen. ln den östlichen Bezirken war - ausgehend von einem sehr niedrigem Niveau - im vergangenen Jahr erstmals seit der Wende ein Anstieg der Produktion, und zwar um reichlich ein Zehntel, zu verzeichnen. Der Anstieg setzt sich fort, allerdings mit geringerem Tempo. In Gesamt-Berlin wird in diesem Jahr die Leistung nur wenig höher als 1992 sein; die Lage auf dem Arbeitsmarkt bleibt schlecht.
