Die feinkeramische Industrie in Deutschland

Abstract

Die Entwicklung der feinkeramischen Industrie während der achtziger Jahre war in der Bundesrepublik vor allem von Veränderungen der Nachfrage und der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit geprägt; in der DDR waren politische Vorgaben (Autarkiestreben, Devisenbeschaffung, staatliche Förderprogramme) ausschlaggebend. Nach der Wende kam es in Ostdeutschland zu einem weitgehenden Zusammenbruch der Produktion. Der zu erwartende leichte Aufwärtstrend wird sich in den folgenden Jahren erst allmählich verstärken, wobei jedoch die Zahl der Erwerbstätigen noch weiter zurückgehen dürfte. Für die alten Bundesländer ist nach dem Schrumpfungsprozeß in den achtziger Jahren für die neunziger Jahre mit einer etwas günstigeren Entwicklung zu rechnen, doch werden nicht alle Bereiche der Branche daran teilhaben.
