Abstract

(VA) This article proposes the concept of "editing" to enrich the analysis of the construction of management tools in social enterprises. Beyond the ceremonial dimensions and analyzes in terms of decoupling, this action research conducted in a solidarity venture capital fund analyzes the “editing” rules that this organization uses to build a monitoring tool of its investments. This article deepens the literature on the construction of management tools by underling the relevance of the concept of “editing”. Results presented allow to consider the “editing” process as a mechanism that build coherence between elements of management tools. Finally, this article shows how, in social enterprises, management tools allow to build common sense on social goals.
