Abstract

(VA) Macro-cultural discourses contribute to the social construction of reality, thus, participating to the structuration of beliefs, ways of thinking and practices. The literature in management gives a relatively central role to these discourses, but methodologically, there is a lack of a systematic approach to define a macro discourse and its interactions with discourses produced by specific actors. This paper develops a new lexicometric approach based on vocabularies. We discuss the contributions of this method that we present as more systematic, flexible and dynamic.
