Abstract

(VA) Several researches underline the need to improve the knowledge of the growth choice of the entrepreneur. This decision is actually the most important strategic decision that an entrepreneur has to take, but, nevertheless, it is not systematic and numerous entrepreneurs choose not to grow. In this context, this research identifies, nearby 29 entrepreneurs and 8 expert witnesses, 6 various logics of action of growth and no growth. Our results show the plurality of the choices of growth of the entrepreneurs. They also highlight, by the mobilization of the Theory of the Ordinary Rationality (TRO), the complexity of the reasons, which motivate these choices.
