Abstract

(VA)The aim of our study is to examine how Chinese Born Globals identify and develop international growth opportunities to expand. We seek to understand how international opportunities are recognized and integrated into entrepreneurial activities of Chinese Born Globals in their internationalization. By addressing three dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation of Chinese Born Globals (innovation, proactivity and risk-taking), our case study presents that international opportunity identification is related to Chinese Born Globals’ innovation, while international opportunity development is related to their pro-activity and risk-taking.
