Abstract

В условията на глобална икономическа криза предизвикателството на електронната търговия създава изключителен потенциал за извличане на ползи за икономическите агенти чрез осъществяване на онлайн покупко-продажби. Електронната търговия със своите предимства и недостатъци, създава алтернативен модел на пазаруване за всички заинтересовани икономически субекти на информационното общество във всяка фаза на икономическия цикъл. Практическата насоченост на изследването се изразява в съпоставяне на прилаганата от двете водещи в световен мащаб компании търговски технологии, постигнатите основни ефекти от дейността им и извеждане на препоръки за подобряване на конкурентните им позиции на виртуалния пазар.In the global economic crisis, the challenge of electronic commerce creates great potential to reap the benefits of economic agents by making an online purchase. Ecommerce with its advantages and disadvantages, creating an alternative model of shopping for all the economic actors in the information society in each stage of the cycle. The practical focus of the study consists in comparing the two applied by leading companies worldwide commercial technologies, achieved major effects of their operations and derive recommendations for improving their competitive position in the digital market.
