Abstract

В настоящата разработка определяме ЕЦБ като водеща институционална финансово-структурна единица на ЕС. Разглеждаме връзките на ЕЦБ с оста-налите органи на ЕС и тенденциите в операциите на банката, които оказват влияние върху нейните балансови позиции. Ролята на ЕЦБ в ЕС е свързана с ангажирането на банката в осигуряване стабилността на ЕС и на Еврозоната, реализирано чрез нейните балансови позиции и политики на въздействие в подкрепа на страните-членки. Целта на разработката е да се изследва ЕЦБ в институционален и балансов аспект за перио-да 2009‒2018 г. при изясняване на нейното значение при постигане на финансов просперитет в ЕС и Еврозоната. Изследването установява съществена динамика в балансовите позиции на ЕЦБ за периода 2009-2018 год. с водеща роля на позицията „Ценни книжа, държани за целите на паричната политика” в актива и кореспондиращата в пасива позиция „Други задължения в рамките на Евросистемата (нето)”.
