Еволюционно Развитие На Европейската Екологична Политика

Abstract

Европейската екологична политика е сред най-актуалните и обсъждани политики на глобално и международно равнище. Темата е актуална, защото проблемите в сферата на околната среда продължават да бъдат сред едни от най-сериозните съвременни предизвикателства пред човечеството. След повече от четири десетилетия на съществуване политиката за опазване на околната среда се превърна в основна и съставна част от развитието на Европейския съюз (ЕС). През цялото това време тази политика беше променяна многократно и в резултат на това днес ЕС има едно от най-обширните екологични законодателства в световен мащаб. Въпреки положените усилия на ниво ЕС, той все още е изправен пред множество проблеми в тази област. В настоящата статия, на основата на разнообразни литературни източници, са разгледани основните етапи в развитието на тази политика. Изяснени са следните по-важни моменти, а именно: причините за възникването на тази политика, развитието й във времето и основните проблеми и предизвикателства, с които ЕС ще трябва да се справи в бъдеще.
