Corrupción y facilidad para abrir negocios:un estudio econométrico de panel a nivel municipal para México

Abstract

Este trabajo analiza la corrupción de las principales metrópolis de México desde el punto de vista de la dificultad que existe para abrir negocios por el alto costo de la legalidad. Se realizan varios modelos econométricos de panel donde la variable dependiente es el índice de corrupción; y las variables independientes o explicativas son la facilidad para hacer negocios, el ingreso per cápita, y el número de habitantes. Las tres resultan significativas en la mayoría de los modelos tal como lo sugiere la teoría.
