Análisis insumo-producto multirregional e integración económica del TLCAN. Una aplicación del método de extracción hipotética

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar la dependencia interpaís y el nivel de integración del TLCAN, prestando especial atención a la interrelación de México con Estados Unidos y Canadá. Para este propósito, se toman las tablas insumo-producto interpaís medidas a precios constantes de Estados Unidos, Canadá y México de los años 1996, 2002 y 2009. Posteriormente, se aplica el método de extracción hipotética de Dietzenbacher et al. (1993) para calcular los encadenamientos hacia atrás, los encadenamientos hacia delante y los efectos de retroalimentación interregionales generados por los tres países.
