Chain ratio estimator for the population mean in the presence of non-response

Abstract

In this paper we have proposed two chain ratio type estimators for population mean using two auxiliary variables in the presence of non-response. The proposed estimators have been found to be more efficient than the relevant estimators for the fixed values of preliminary sample of size n′and subsample of size )(nn′
