Dos modelos matemáticos para el lavado de activos

Abstract

Este documento presenta una corta descripción y los resultados de los artículos de Araújo (2010) y Ng et al. (2010). Estos artículos presentan modelos teóricos con enfoques diferentes; el modelo de Araujo (2010) utiliza teoría de juegos evolutiva para mostrar que la eficiencia del combate contra el lavado de activos se sustenta en la conjugación de factores tales como un adecuado diseno de la regulación contra el lavado de activos y una decisión endógena de los bancos y los empleados para cooperar con esta lucha. Por su parte, Ng et al. (2010) examina la conveniencia de utilizar procesos de decisión para modelar sistemas de adversarios inteligentes en el mundo real. Hallan un modelo para el proceso de lavado de activos, utilizando el proceso de decisión interactivo parcialmente observado de Markov (I-POMDPs)
