Ciénaga de Ayapel, afluente hídrico en aprietos

Abstract

La extracción desmesurada de materiales selectos, la contaminación de los afluentes naturales, la falta de los permisos y autorizaciones de la ley son las principales características de la minería ilegal en el territorio colombiano. Las alteraciones negativas derivadas de las extracciones ilegales han causado problemas a los diferentes sistemas de la sociedad. Por ello, el control de cada una de las regiones afectadas por este fenómeno, en especial la ciénaga de Ayapel, se ha ido perdiendo progresivamente. La ciénaga de Ayapel es considerada como uno de las mayores afluentes hídricos del departamento de Córdoba, debido a que su territorio posee una gran concentración de recursos naturales, altamente valorados, lo que la convierte en un foco de intereses, no solo para las organizaciones legales, tanto públicas como privadas y civiles, sino también para las ilegales, que en su deseo de apoderarse de los apreciados recursos de este macrosistema de humedales, emplean métodos de extracción ilegales y agresivos
