Construcción de artefactos tecnológicos mediados por los estudiantes de la Universidad Santiago de Cali

Abstract

Este estudio consistió en describir el proceso de construcción de tres artefactos tecnológicos, donde se utilizaron temáticas de la geometría y la física. El contexto en el cual se llevó a cabo la investigación fueron las aulas de Didáctica de la geometría, impartidas en la Universidad Santiago de Cali. Además, se contó con la participación de 17 estudiantes de VI semestre de Licenciatura en Educación Básica con énfasis en Matemáticas. La metodología utilizada fue cualitativa descriptiva y se implementaron los siguientes instrumentos de recolección de datos: la observación que se efectuó mediante videos, fotos y los documentos. Los resultados muestran que el proceso de construcción de los artefactos tecnológicos tuvo tres grandes etapas, 1. Revisión de literatura; 2. Construcción de los artefactos tecnológicos focalizados en la geometría euclidiana y la física clásica (estructura, movimientos, etc.); y 3. Integración de Programación (Arduino y/o Matlab) o circuitos a cada artefacto tecnológico. Los artefactos tecnológicos demarcan diferentes contrastes entre la física y la geometría, centrados en la relación forma-movimiento y tiempo-espacio. La geometría y la física tienen diferentes elementos en común como forma, movimiento, observación, comprobación, entre otros; los cuales están inmersos en el proceso de construcción de artefactos tecnológicos.
