Percepción de los estudiantes de economía de la Universidad de Narino sobre su formación profesional

Abstract

El artículo parte de realizar varias consideraciones acerca de cómo una persona se puede formar como economista y si es válido o no asistir a una universidad para conseguir tal propósito. La pregunta que se intenta contestar es si el Programa de Economía ofrecido por la Universidad de Narino es el lugar ideal para aprender la ciencia económica. La respuesta a la pregunta anterior se basa en diferentes análisis realizados en la investigación denominada “Historia del Programa de Economía en la Universidad de Narino 1973-2003. Balance prospectivo”, la cual considero como fuente de información la entrevista realizada a 75 estudiantes del Programa de Economía en el 2006. Los estudiantes contestaron de una forma amplia y libre su opinión acerca del proceso de ensenanza/aprendizaje de la Economía; respuestas que se presentan en este artículo y que hacen parte de la investigación antes mencionada. Lo anterior, permite afirmar que el Programa de Economía ofrecido por la Universidad de Narino se constituye en un lugar adecuado para estudiar Economía debido a que tiene la misma secuencia en los planes de estudio que otras Facultades existentes en el país y en el exterior.
