El espacio economico polarizado en la teoria de la planificacion regional

Abstract

En el artículo se analiza críticamente la evolución de los diferentes enfoques del desarrollo regional, de las regiones como objeto de planificación, desenmascarando el carácter neocolonialista de los mismos y cuya aplicación ha agudizado las contradicciones entre lo regional y lo nacional, poniendo en evidencia el fracaso del Estado centralista y de los esquemas de ordenamiento territorial copiados de otras realidades ajenas a las nuestras. Como alternativa al desarrollo desigual se propone el fortalecimiento de la autonomía regional, así como la estructuración de los Estados Regionales.
