Impact of the consumption of venezuelans in the trade of the city of Cúcuta. case study under then demobilization of venezuelans

Abstract

The context of consumers, who follow the market trends or situations of different countries, has changed in recent decades.However, border regions, as special zones, behave differently from the rest of any country. Colombia is no exception;therefore,thepurposeofthisresearchistorevealtheexperiencesof crucialinformantsthroughacasestudy ofcompaniesinCúcuta using grounded theory as an interpretive research method. Through the applied instrument, managers revealed theircurrent situation regarding the flowing presence of Venezuelans as customers. This flow produced positive effects on thepharmacy,grocery,andtransportationsectors.Onthecontrary,thehealthcare,currencyexchange,andestheticssectorswereadverselyaffected,whiletherewasnovariationinthetelecommunicationsandlegaladvice.***El contexto de los consumidores está cambiando en las últimas décadas, y estos se apegan a las tendencias del mercado osituacionesdelasdiferentesregionesdelospaíses.Esde puntualizarquelasregionesfronterizassonzonas especialesquesecomportan de manera diferente al resto de los países y en Colombia no es la excepción. Es por ello que el propósito de estainvestigación fue develar las experiencias de informantes clave a través de un estudio de caso basado en la teoría fundamentadacomo método de investigación interpretativo, dirigido a empresas en la ciudad de Cúcuta, donde sus gerentes a través delinstrumento aplicado revelaron la situación que se está presentando con la presencia fluida de venezolanos como clientes deesos negocios. Esto resultó en efectos positivos en las áreas de farmacia, necesidades básicas y transporte; sin embargo, lossectores de salud, cambio de divisas y estética tuvieron efectos negativos, mientras que no hubo variación en los sectores detelecomunicacionesyserviciosjurídicos.
