Abstract

El presente artículo ofrece un acercamiento a los conceptos de ecología y feminismo como dos movimientos que aportan a la sostenibilidad de la vida y al desarrollo territorial. El documento aborda aspectos teóricos y, utilizando la metodología de estudio de caso de una de las organizaciones de mujeres rurales que ha desarrollado emprendimientos en la provincia de Soto, en Santander (Colombia), se realiza un análisis sobre las prácticas ecofeministas de las mujeres y su contribución a la solución de necesidades colectivas, destacando los aportes que realizan a sus comunidades en factores determinantes del desarrollo local y territorial en lo político, económico, social, cultural y ambiental.
