Reflexiones sobre la reforma al sistema de salud del presidente Obama

Abstract

EEUUenfrenta ahora otra de sus crisis después de la recesión.El sistema de salud aún es ineficiente, inaccesible,de baja calidad y además costoso.EEUU gasta el doble en salud pero la cobertura es baja, la expectativa de vidaes menor y las empresas cada vez son menos competitivas. Hoy se lucha por un cambio urgente en la reformaactual de salud, donde sea la opción pública otra posibilidad para que las personas adquieran el servicio, quebrinde mejor atención, que favorezca a las empresas, al más bajo costo. Los republicanos argumentan que seríauna reforma que afectaría a las empresas privadas, que aumentaría los impuestos por el déficit fiscal tan alto.Perola reforma ya ganó su primer debate y Obama invita a los demócratas a aprovechar su mayoría en el congresopara votar a favor de ésta reforma que brindaría cobertura total de salud al pueblo estadounidense.
