Análisis del proceso de implementación de la Política Pública de Envejecimiento y Vejez. Ibagué, Colombia

Abstract

La investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar el proceso de implementación de la Política Pública de Envejecimiento y Vejez del municipio de Ibagué – Colombia para el periodo 2016-2019. Se desarrolló mediante una metodología mixta de alcance descriptivo, se recogió la información mediante la revisión de documentos institucionales y 32 entrevistas semiestructuradas con adultos mayores y diversos actores involucrados. La información fue sistematizada y analizada a través de la identificación de categorías conceptuales con apoyo en el programa SPSS. El resultado principal es la falta de reconocimiento de parte de los actores de un proceso de socialización de la política y de las acciones adelantadas, se evidencia un bajo nivel de integración y trabajo intersectorial lo cual conduce a un impacto reducido en la restitución y protección de los derechos de los adultos mayores.
