Abstract

Este documento hace un breve recorrido histórico de la evolución de la Banca Central en el país, empezando por el periodo de la historia de Colombia conocido como la Regeneración, pasando a la misión Kemmerer, el fin de patrón oro, la creación de la Junta Monetaria, hasta llegar a la independencia del Banco de la República en 1991.******This document is a brief history of the evolution of Central Banking in Colombia, beginning with the period of history known as the Regeneration Colombia, passing Kemmerer mission, the end of the gold standard, the creation of the Monetary Board, up to the independence of the Bank of the Republic in 1991.
