Abstract

AbstractThis paper intends to introduce the difficulties and possible solutions to fiscal policy representation trough dynamic stochastic general equilibrium models (DSGE). This work shows how different types of concepts that attack the Ricardian equivalency or act as market rigidities, increases fiscal shocks´ size and persistence, which in many cases results in a better representation of reality.
