Abstract

“Cursa en el Congreso un Proyecto de Ley sobre Ciencia y Tecnología (número 028 Cámara del 2007) que busca dar una mayor importancia a las políticas correspondientes y aumentar la inversión pública y privada en esta área. El Texto aprobado el 5 de Diciembre de 2007 en la Comisión Sexta de la Cámara propone convertir a Colciencias en un Departamento Administrativo (en lugar del Ministerio de Ciencia y Tecnología que proponía el Proyecto original), crear el Fondo Nacional de Financiamiento para la Ciencia y Tecnología (FONACYTI) y nutrirlo con los recursos presupuestales hoy destinados a la Ciencia y Tecnología y con un porcentaje de los ingresos estatales futuros por privatizaciones y concesiones.”
