La comercialización externa de café colombiano

Abstract

“Aunque la economía cafetera ha sido objeto de consideración en la investigación económica en el país, la política de comercialización externa del grano no ha recibido una atención adecuada. Este trabajo constituye una primera aproximación al tema, analizando en particular los convenios de comercialización que ha venido utilizando en los últimos anos la Federación Nacional de Cafeteros. En las dos primeras partes del estudio se detallan algunas características del mercado internacional y de la comercialización externa de café colombiano, proporcionando el marco dentro del cual operan los convenios existentes. En la tercera se describen los convenios y se comparar con los que emplean otros países productores. En la cuarta se cuantifican los costos y se avalúa la política de comercialización. Finalmente, se presentan las principales conclusiones del estudio.”
