Abstract

El consejo directivo de Fedesarrollo ha querido rendirle este sencillo pero significativo homenaje al doctor Rodrigo Botero Montoya primer director de la institución. En el ano de 1970 el doctor Botero, terminando sus labores como Secretario Económico de la Presidencia durante la administración Lleras Restrepo fue invitado por don Manuel Carvajal Sinisterra para dirigir una entidad con el objeto de recaudar fondos para las universidades copiando el modelo que la FES estaba desarrollando exitosamente en Cali.
