Relevancia de la información financiera en el precio de las acciones del mercado mexicano

Abstract

Este trabajo analiza la relación entre indicadores obtenidos de los estados financieros y el precio de las acciones para una muestra de emisoras que cotizan en la Bolsa Mexicana de Valores dentro del periodo 2001-2010. La estimación econométrica es mediante un modelo panel de datos. Los hallazgos del estudio refieren a que el uso de la información financiera es relevante para la predicción del futuro desempeno del mercado, sin embargo, el impacto de los indicadores financieros no es el mismo para todas las empresas de la muestra, además de que el efecto no es constante a través del tiempo.
