Abstract

Microsoft® Excel es la hoja electrónica de mayor uso en el mundo, que puede ser usada en una variedad de propósitos incluyendo el mantenimiento de bases de datos, el análisis matemático, financiero y estadístico. Gracias a su versatilidad, a la inclusión de las macros y la opción de programación mediante Visual Basic, se pueden desarrollar todo tipo de aplicaciones en el campo empresarial. Este articulo, fue el resultado de la conclusión del diseno de una aplicación para la gestión de inventarios programada en Microsoft Excel®, empleando las ventajas de la hoja de cálculo y la programación estructurada, para generar un programa amigable e intuitivo adaptable a cualquier tipo de organización. Este caso fue tratado en la asignatura de Informática Industrial del programa de Administración Industrial de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas Universidad de Cartagena
