¿Sociedad del conocimiento o de la información como condicionante en la dirección?

Abstract

reSUmenel acelerado desarrollo experimentado en los últimos anos por las tecnologíasde la información y las comunicaciones (TIc), ha generado procesos detransformación fundamentales en las relaciones humanas, la economía, lacultura, la política e incluso las costumbres. el efecto de estos cambios en unasociedad determinada depende de las condiciones particulares de su estructuray la evolución en el tiempo. en este artículo se analizan los conceptos queresponden a dos tradiciones de pensamiento distintas: sociedad de la informacióny sociedad del conocimiento, y se abordan los rasgos centrales que actualmentelas definen; analizando las transformaciones a que dieron origen y el modo enque se ha intentado unificar sus características bajo un único término.aBStractThe accelerated development experimented in the last years by the informationand communication technologies (IcT), has generated transformationfundamental processes in human relations, economy, culture, politics andeven customs. The effect of these changes on a determined society dependson the particular conditions of its structure and evolution in time. This articleanalyzes the concepts that respond to two different thinking traditions:information society and knowledge society. They address current centralfeatures that define them, analyzing the originated transformations and theway in which its characteristics have been unified under a single term.reSUmoo acelerado desenvolvimento experimentado nos últimos anos pelastecnologias da informacao e as comunicacoes (TIc), tem gerado processos detransformacao fundamentais nas relacoes humanas, a economia, a cultura, apolítica e inclusive os costumes. o efeito destas mudancas em uma sociedadedeterminada depende das condicoes particulares de sua estrutura e a evolucaono tempo. neste artigo se analisam os conceitos que respondem a duastradicoes de pensamento distintas: sociedade da informacao e sociedade doconhecimento, e abordam-se os rasgos centrais que atualmente as definem;analisando as transformacoes a que deram origem e o modo em que se temtentado unificar suas características sob um único termo.rÉSUmÉle développement rapide connu ces dernieres années par la technologiede l´information et des communications (TIc´s), a généré des processusfondamentaux de transformation dans les relations humaines, l´économie,la culture, la politique et meme, les habitudes. l´effet de ces changementsdans une société donnée dépend des conditions particulieres de leurstructure et l´évolution au fil du temps. dans cet article nous analysons lesconcepts qui répondent aux deux traditions de pensée différentes: la sociétéde l´information et la société de la connaissance. la, nous abordons lescaractéristiques centrales qui les définissent actuellement; analysant lestransformations qui ont donné origine et le moyen dont nous avons été tentéd´unifier leurs propriétés en vertu d´un terme unique.
