La migración internacional: teorías y enfoques, una mirada actual

Abstract

En este trabajo se examinan las principales teorías y explicaciones conceptuales de lamigración internacional bajo las escuelas económicas, desde sus las causas y efectos;no obstante, se hace una breve alusión a otras razones y resultados que aunque no sonpropiamente económicos van a incidir en ella. La revisión bibliográfica parte desde losclásicos de la economía hasta nuestros días. Se observa que ninguna teoría por sí misma,puede ofrecer una explicación total sobre los procesos de la migración internacional, yaque las causales son de diversa naturaleza e igualmente las evidencias empíricas sobreefectos arrojan resultados dispares.
