El futuro de los clusters y las cadenas productivas

Abstract

Este artículo presenta un esquema de análisis acerca de la utilización de la previsión tecnológica en el desarrollo de visiones de futuro para clusters y cadenas productivas. Inicia con una breve descripción de la evolución histórica de los programas nacionales de previsión tecnológica. Posteriormente se centra en el análisis de la subteoría de la competitividad y clusters de Michael Porter, haciendo énfasis en sus limitaciones conceptuales y metodológicas para el desarrollo de visiones de futuro. A partir de estas limitaciones, propone una escala creciente para eldesarrollo de cadenas productivas en función del grado de compromiso estratégico de los actores relevantes de la cadena productiva y del nivel de conocimiento exigido a estos actores en un horizonte temporal
