La fundamental convergencia teórica entre el pensamiento económico de la escuela monetarista de Chicago y el de los sociólogos constructivistas moderados: Teleología, epistemología y metodología

Abstract

Esta investigación pretende demostrar la fundamental convergencia teórica existente en-tre las aportaciones procedentes de los economistas de la escuela monetarista de Chicago y las de los sociólogos constructivistas moderados. Con tal propósito, se agruparon estas contribuciones en torno a tres categorías: teleología, epistemología y metodología. En vista de los resultados, se concluye que, pese a los diferentes intereses prioritarios que ex-hiben estos autores, todos ellos coinciden, por una parte, en la esfera epistemológica, en valerse de reglas hipotético-deductivas que incorporan consideraciones, tanto lógicas, como factuales; y por otra, en el campo metodológico, en el uso de herramientas, tanto lógico-deductivas, como empírico-analíticas.
