Abstract

Así, se identifican las características que incrementaron la probabilidad de ser detenido y muestra información relevante para el ulterior diseno de política pública basada en evidencia, puesto que muestra algunos aspectos de atención por las políticas de prevención del delito.******Associated factors to the first arrest of Mexican inmates in federal penitentiaries when they were minors are identified through the theoretical perspective of the life course and the techniques of events history. Data used has been obtained from the First Inmate Population Survey in Federal Social Readaptation Centers, it delivers information about the family, social, economic and socialization contexts of the inmates arrested when they were minors. Thereby, the characteristics that increased the probability of being arrested are identified. The survey also shows relevant information for the subsequent design of public policy based on evidence because it unveils aspects of attention relevant for crime prevention policies.
