Caracterización multidimensional de la mujer emprendedora: caso empírico en los municipios de Florencia (Caquetá) e Ibagué (Tolima), Colombia

Abstract

El objetivo del artículo es mostrar los resultados de la investigación cuantitativa sobre los aspec-tos que influyeron en la capacidad de las mujeres emprendedoras, ubicadas en las ciudades colombianas de Florencia e Ibagué, en la creación y consolidación de sus proyectos productivos. Para tal fin, se aplicó un cuestionario previamente validado a 198 mujeres de estas dos poblaciones, cuya información fue procesada mediante técnicas del Análisis Descriptivo, Componentes Principales y Regresión Lineal Múltiple del Análisis Multivariado. Los hallazgos demostraron que las variables de tiempo como empresaria, definición y posicio-namiento estratégico de la empresa, y formación académica recibida por estas mujeres, no solo les permi-tieron mejorar sus habilidades emprendedoras, sino también sus métodos, su forma de pensar, así como su capacidad para la identificación de oportunidades para nuevos negocios. En la misma línea, se observa que el número de empleados al servicio de la organización también influyó sobre la creación de sus empresas.******The article intends to show the results of quantitative research into the aspects that influenced the ability of female entrepreneurs in the Colombian cities of Florencia and Ibagué to set up and consolidate their production projects. For this, a previously validated questionnaire was administered to 198 women from these two populations, whose information was then processed using descriptive analysis, principal components, and multiple linear regression of multivariate analysis. The findings demonstrate that the variables of time as an entrepreneur, definition and strategic positioning of the company, and academic training not only allowed these women to improve their entrepreneurial skills, but also their methods, way of thinking, and ability to identify opportunities for new businesses. It is also observed that the number of employees at the service of the organization also influenced the creation of their companies.******O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar os resultados da pesquisa quantitativa sobre os aspectos que influenciaram na capacidade das mulheres empreendedoras, das cidades colombianas de Florencia e Ibagué, na criacao e consolidacao de seus projetos produtivos. Para isso, foi aplicado um questionário previamente validado a 198 mulheres dessas cidades, cuja informacao foi processada mediante técnicas de análise descriti-va, componentes principais e regressao linear múltipla da análise multivariada. Os achados demonstram que as variáveis de tempo como empresária, a definicao e posicionamento estratégico da empresa, e a formacao academica recebida por essas mulheres nao somente lhes permitiram melhorar suas habilidades empreen-dedoras, mas também seus métodos, sua forma de pensar, bem como sua capacidade para identificarem oportunidades para novos negócios. Na mesma linha, foi observado que o número de empregados a servico da organizacao também influenciou na criacao de suas empresas.
