Revisión del estado actual de la industria de las curtiembres en sus procesos y productos: un análisis de su competitividad

Abstract

Este documento inicia con una revisión bibliográfica sobre la actividad de las curtiembres, a nivel nacional e internacional, con la cual se conocen factores diferenciadores sobre los procesos productivos efectuados en el sector. Se pretende conocer la metodología empleada en la producción de cueros a nivel mundial, en Colombia, y en particular, en Villapinzón (Cundinamarca), para de esta forma obtener un análisis DOFA (debilidades, oportunidades, fortalezas y amenazas), herramienta de diagnóstico que se aplica a las curtiembres investigadas. Así mismo, se menciona la normatividad vigente en Colombia, la cual presenta aspectos relevantes a tener en cuenta para incrementar la competitividad de las curtiembres
