Tablas de vida de Santiago de Cali: Tendencias recientes y proyecciones: 1985-2030

Abstract

El objetivo de este documento es exponer las tendencias de mortalidad recientes en hombres y mujeres, en Santiago de Cali, construidas mediante la aplicación del modelo de Lee y Carter (1992). También aportar a la literatura y agencias de política regionales proyecciones futuras de las tasas de mortalidad específicas en la ciudad, a través de técnicas de uso común en las literaturas actuarial y demográfica contemporáneas. Los patrones de mortalidad en Cali se ajustan en buena medida a los hallazgos para otras regiones del mundo. Se han presentado importantes reducciones en la mayor parte de las tasas de mortalidad específicas durante el período analizado y se pronostican, por ende, futuras reducciones para casi todos los grupos de edad, exceptuando los hombres entre 15 y 25 anos.
