Estructura financiera de las empresas del clúster servicios médicos y odontológicos del Valle de Aburrá en ambientes cambiantes

Abstract

Resumen: El objetivo del estudio es caracterizar la estructura financiera de las empresas grandes y medianas ubicadas en el Valle de Aburrá, pertenecientes al clúster servicios médicos y odontológicos. Se busca determinar si el comportamiento de dicha estructura coincide con los planteamientos de la Teoría del PeckingOrder (Myers, 1984) y además, si presenta variaciones durante el período de recesión económica. Los resultados sugieren que las decisiones de financiación en las empresas grandes, podrían explicarse a partir de la teoría estudiada, la cual no encuentra un claro soporte en el caso de las empresas medianas, que modifican su estructura de financiación, durante el período de crisis económica, intensificando la utilización de pasivos de corto plazo.
