El proceso de paz con las Farc y la cuestión rural en Antioquia

Abstract

Resumen: Antioquia es uno de los departamentos colombianos más afectados por el conflicto armado interno; el número de víctimas, por ejemplo, en junio de 2013 era de 1´050.593, provenientes, la mayoría, del sector rural. De allí el interés que se llegue a un acuerdo de paz en La Habana, Cuba. El artículo analiza el sector rural en Antioquia y lo compara con lo negociado con las Farc. Muestra la relación histórica entre el conflicto armado y el sector rural, diagnostica la problemática socioeconómica actual del sector en el departamento, presenta los principales aspectos abordados en el primer punto de la agenda de paz y, finalmente, deja planteado para la discusión algunos asuntos que es necesario abordar en el desarrollo del sector rural en la región.
