Dinámica Demográfica Intercensal De Los Municipios Del Valle Del Cauca 1993-2005

Abstract

El objetivo del artículo es evaluar un modelo de Dinámica Demográfica, basado en la población esperada y observada, a partir de la dinámica de la población del Valle del Cauca, durante los periodos censales 1993 y 2005. Los resultados arrojan que existe un desfase de sobrevaloración de casi medio millón de habitantes entre la población observada y esperada para el Valle del Cauca. Entre 1993-2005 este modelo es diferencial entre los municipios del Valle, lo que incide en un desconocimiento acerca de la magnitud de la población rural y urbana, con lo cual se generan alteraciones en el proceso deurbanización de los municipios.
