Abstract

En el presente trabajo se hace un análisis descriptivo de los mecanismos de regulación económica del servicio de telefonía pública básica conmutada local en Colombia entre los anos 1999 a 2008, y se estudian sus desarrollos, se describe su funcionamiento, sus características económicas principales y sus fallas de mercado. Luego se abordan los diferentes sistemas utilizados para regular la telefonía fija en Colombia en materia tarifaria y de interconexión.
