Un dialogo con el profesor FRIEDRICH VON HAYEK

Abstract

La disciplina de la economía ha recibido, hasta cierto punto, el reconocimiento otorgado anteriormente solo a las ciencias naturales con el establecimiento del Premio Nobel para esta área del conocimiento. A pesar de este hecho, muchos economistas profesionales, del más alto nivel teórico, han expresado su desilusión y descontento en relación con el progreso y el estado actual de la disciplina. Usted mismo afirma en la conferencia que dictó con motivo del Premio Nobel que los economistas tienen pocos motivos para estar orgullosos y que han generado mucha confusión. Quisiera comenzar esta discusión sometiendo a un poco de análisis el tema relacionado con el grado de importancia de la llamada "crisis" de la teoría económica.
