Pokémon Go y sus factores de éxito: diseno de un modelo teórico

Abstract

Pokémon Go es un juego descargable basado en la localización que causó una histeria colectiva durante su lanzamiento en 2016. Este artículo, mediante una investigación documental, tiene como objetivo disenar un modelo teórico con base en los factores de éxito de Pokémon Go. Se identificaron cinco factores de éxito: 1. nostalgia, 2. descarga gratuita, 3. actualizaciones continuas, 4. dinámica de juego, y 5. sana implementación de micropagos. El modelo teórico disenado puede influir en el desarrollo de posteriores modelos estratégicos que auxilien a los tomadores de decisiones en la dirección estratégica organizacional. Además, el presente aporte teórico puede ser capitalizado por la comunidad académica para analizar a profundidad el mercado de las aplicaciones electrónicas en subsecuentes investigaciones empíricas.
