Abstract

RESUMEN Este artículo nace de la investigación "El empresario bogotano y su acción" que tiene como objetivo estudiar al empresario fundador en Bogotá (Colombia), desde la dinámica de las interrelaciones que el empresario establece entre su propio ser, familia y trabajo, interactuando en un contexto determinado. Para esta investigación se definen seis categorías de análisis, pero este artículo se centra en una: las percepciones del empresario frente al crecimiento de su empresa de acuerdo con la etapa en la que se encuentra. Las conclusiones dan cuenta que sentimientos, necesidades, percepciones, crisis y motivaciones del empresario, se transforman a medida que la empresa progresa que las posibilidades de obtener altas tasas de crecimiento se empiezan a agotar y que cada etapa de transición demanda nuevos estilos de dirección.
