    Abstract

    RESUMEN Este artículo busca mostrar, a través de una revisión bibliográfica analítica, la pertinencia de la hipótesis que plantea la multilocalización como una de las mejores estrategias empresariales para competir globalmente, específicamente, cuando las empresas tienen ventajas competitivas y son capaces de identificar y aprovechar las ventajas comparativas de las regiones. La principal implicación de esta hipótesis es que reclama una mayor atención sobre las nuevas necesidades de habilidades empresariales para ligar la ruptura de la cadena de valor que la integración comercial produce.
