La Forma De Gobierno Y Su Relación Con El Poder Y El Cambio Organizacional: Caso Universidad Del Rosario

Abstract

Este artículo pretende analizar, a la luz de la teoría del poder, el cambio organizacional, las capacidades organizacionales y los cambios generados en la forma de gobierno de la Universidad del Rosario entre 1974 y 1995. Partiendo del hecho que dicha forma de gobierno permaneció intacta durante más de trescientos anos, llama la atención cómo cambios en el entorno, características de la organización y de los individuos que la conforman, pueden llevar a las organizaciones a emprender procesos que modifiquen su forma de gobierno, alterando la distribución del poder y el rol de los actores en el mencionado esquema. Estos cambios permitieron a la Universidad del Rosario afrontar las exigencias del entorno y, a su vez, conservar su capacidad de gobernabilidad.
