Corporaciones financieras privadas un análisis sobre el cumplimiento de sus objetivos

Abstract

En 1980 el gobierno nacional introdujo diversas modificaciones a la reglamentación existente sobre corporaciones financieras, con el fin de reorientar la actividad de estas entidades de tal manera que se lograse un cumplimiento satisfactorio de las tareas para las cuales fueron concebidas. El presente documento tiene por objeto hacer una evaluación del comportamiento de las corporaciones financieras privadas a la luz del cumplimiento o incumplimiento de las funciones que les fueron atribuidas desde su creación. Por otra parte, en el desarrollo del trabajo se examinan algunas de las condiciones en las cuales ellas deben operar y se hacen algunas recomendaciones de carácter general, para el logro de un mayor acercamiento a los fines propuestos por la legislación.
